A new Mortgagee Letter (2008-06) was released on Temporary Loan Limit Increase for FHA. This action is a result of the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 signed by President Bush on or about February 13, 2008. The letter is posted on HUD’s website. It temporarily raises the floor and ceiling of new FHA mortgages endorsed on or after March 6th but before December 31, 2008.
